I gave three the stars because for the most part the 14 years Murphy was seen at the clinic, it was a good experience. But the last visit was to put Murphy to sleep after a heart wrenching night of watching him suffering from what I later found to be kidney failure, from looking up the symptoms on line. I never saw one is the doctors even in the morning. Murphy had the misfortune to display signs at 8 minutes before closing time, and I was told I would have to wait until morning to bring him. I spent the night trying to comfort him as he struggled, at one point writhing and growling across the floor in pain. I will never forget that horrible night. I was not even asking for them to stay long enough to examine him. I knew at his age he was in too bad a condition for that. I only wanted them to let me come in and have them put him out of his pain. It is not against the law to stay late at work for some situations.

My dog had Conjunctivitis. Pink eye, so damn common. I tried to just use Chewy.com to just order the medicine online, but its gate kept by the Veterinarian's. Ogden Animal Hospital has been my Vet since my dog got his first Vaccines, they would NOT approve the order. Said I MUST bring him in for a visit. Fine. Ridiculous as that is. At the appointment I explained how I used over the counter drops of Hyaluronic Acid eye drops for a week in hopes it WASN'T actually Conjunctivitis. He agreed it was infected and indeed needed medication for Conjunctivitis. He sent me home with Triple Antibiotic Ointment!! Basically Neosporin! For $70! So I treat my dog for over a week with that bullcrap, 3x a day. He continues to suffer. Its a hassle. Ultimately NOT healing my furr baby. Then I call they say I would need to go in for ANOTHER appointment to get the actual Medication that will treat it, Ofloxan Ophthalmic Drops... Costing me ANOTHER $70 FREAKIN BUCKS!!! And the time and effort to go to another damn office visit for it! This place is a rip-off and a bunch of hustlers!! We need better Vets here in Ogden!!

The 1st time I took my cat, Dr. Lemon and the entire staff, were amazing, warm, and very professional. It doesn't matter what it costs. I am very grateful to have such a good place to take my cat.
