The staff is very kind and helpful helping my dog transition from this world the ladies at Brookside where good to work with going through the process of having my dog put to rest . I would recommend taking your animals to them you can tell they are very caring.

My dog has some growths I was concerned about. They have been growing for a couple years, I get them looked at each vet visit. They explained them to me as not likely something to be concerned about, but my dog couldn’t comfortably wear a harness anymore with the location on one on between her shoulder blades. I knew, unless biopsied they wouldn’t know for sure what it was and she had more than one. I grew concerned of cancer or mobility issues so I opted to have them removed. She is getting older so I started to second guess myself, concerned she wouldn’t handle anesthesia well at her age, I didn’t want to put her through the procedure just for cosmetic reasons if they are not actually causing her harm. I pestered the staff and the vet multiple times with the same questions over and over, should I or shouldn’t I? My anxiety was high thinking whichever decision might be the wrong decision so I couldn’t make up my mind. They were all incredibly patient with me, answered my repetitive questions, never made me feel like I was annoying them, but instead treated me and my concerns with compassion. The masses were removed, biopsied, and came back benign. I had a moment of feeling disappointed I put her through that “for nothing”, but knowing she doesn’t have cancer, I can rest easy, and now they are gone she can wear a harness comfortably and improves her quality of life. I’m happy I went through with it, and I am grateful the staff gave me time and confidence so I could make the best decision her.
